At just 20 years old, Bella Bock was a single mother living in overcrowded conditions, having dropped out of school and struggling with depression. Her future felt hopeless, until she discovered the Lidar Community Foundation’s Young Mothers Empowerment Program.
Through the support of Lidar Community Foundation, and partners, Bella received GBV and Counseling support services, vocational training, and most life-changing of all—driving lessons.
Today, Bella proudly holds a full driving license and is actively seeking work with new confidence and purpose. Behind the wheel, she’s no longer just surviving, she’s steering her life toward opportunity and independence.
